Women’s Issues
About one in three Americans struggles with a mental illness, but the rate is much higher in women. Research suggests that women are about 40% more likely than men to develop depression. They’re twice as likely to develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), with about 10% of women developing the condition after a traumatic event. We help treat many issues that affect women struggle with in daily life including: anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, eating disorders, relationship and parenting issues, stressful live experiences, family of origin issues, self-harming behaviors, and addiction.
